Asked Questions

Q: Why should I use a pet sitter rather board my pet(s)?
A: Keeping your pet as close to their normal routine ensures comfort, health and less stress. Having a professional pet sitter come to your home is the next best thing to having you there.

Q: What services do you offer?
A: Private on-leash walks, in-home pet visits, puppy programs, medication administration, mid-day visits, house sitting and more.

Q: Do you provide services for the occasional user or do I need to sign a long-term contract?
A: Yes, we do work for the occasional user, and there is no need to sign a long-term contract. Many of our clients have us visit their pets on a regular ongoing basis, but a large portion of our business is to help for vacations, business trips, or when there is an emergency. We also provide long-term assignments.

Q: Are you bonded and insured?

A: Although the pet sitting hours will vary, our business office is open from 9am-5pm Monday through Friday. Messages can be left at any time. Email is another great way to contact us, especially after hours. If you need service after office hours you can reach us via cell phone also.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept and when do I pay?
A: Cash, check, Credit cards (Visa & Mastercard-through Paypal) Payment is due at the beginning of service. If you have a credit card on file, it will automatically be charged at the start of service.

A: Our primary service covers dogs and cats; however, we do work with birds, ferrets, rabbits, reptiles and fish.

Q: How long have you been in business?
A: We have been in business since 2003.

Q: Do you have references?
A: Certainly! We have a few letters on our website and we can provide you with a list of satisfied customers who are happy to answer any questions you have.

Q: How many keys do I need to provide?
A: We require 2 working keys and they should be provided during the initial consultation. One key is for the sitter and one key will be kept in the office in case of an emergency. If you require your keys to be returned, there will be a charge for future key pick up. If you live in a gated community, please provide the access code as well. We cannot go through leasing offices to be let into your building.

Q: How many visits a day do I need?
A: We try to accommodate every situation; the least frequent service we offer is once daily for cats. We can do up to 4 visits per day and also combination of extended visits. We will be happy to discuss your requirements and help you come up with a schedule of service to fit your needs.
