Pet Sitting

We provide pet sitting services to offer you and your pet(s) peace of mind. We will come to your house between one and four times daily to take care of your pet(s) according to your instructions. We will feed them, give them fresh water, scoop litter boxes, give medications, take dogs for walks or out for playtime in your yard, clean up after them, and shower them with lots of love and affection. We will also bring in your mail and newspaper, take your trash to the curb, alter lights and drapes, and water plants.

How many times a day we come to your home depends upon you and your pet. All dogs, even outdoor dogs, should be seen at least twice a day while you are gone. Some dogs may only need 2 visits a day, especially if they are outdoor dogs or are used to being left alone for long periods of time. Most dogs do best with 3 visits a day. Occasionally, because of illness or a puppy, the dog might need up to 4 visits per day. Most cats do well with one or two visits per day depending on their feeding schedule and how much attention they need. We prefer not do every other day visits for any animal. We feel that each animal should be seen every day.

While the majority of the business involves sitting for dogs and cats, we also offer care for other animals as well. We will happily sit for rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, and guinea pigs. We do not have much experience with birds or reptiles, but would love to meet with you and find out what is involved before taking a job involving their care.

Daily Services

Along with pet sitting we also offer daily visits. A daily visit can be a one time only visit that you need for a special occasion such as a wedding or day trip, or it can be for any number of days of the week. These visits might include the following:

Dog Walking: We offer dog walking or dog play time services for those people who have a long commute for work, or simply cannot get home during the day to check on their dog(s). A dog who has gotten out for some exercise and play with some human companionship is much more content and a happier dog to come home to.

Puppy Breaks: If you just got a new puppy and are not sure how you will manage caring for them during the day, maybe We can help. We offer special puppy visits. Puppies are in need of extra attention and care and should not be left alone for long periods of time. Crates are a great tool for housebreaking and keeping your puppy from chewing up your house, but they cannot be left in them all day. They may end up soiling the crate and that could defeat its purpose. They need to have potty breaks more often. Puppies also have a lot more energy and need plenty of exercise. We will come take them out, play with them, help them become accustomed to walking on a leash.

Special Care Visits: Some pets require mid-day medications and it is impossible for you to get home to administer it. You may have a pet that recently had surgery or an injury and you just need someone to stop by and check on them. We will be glad to help there also.

Special Day Visits: Going on a day trip, attending a wedding, or just want to take a day off and head to the beach? Instead of worrying about your pet and how you can take off for the day and make sure they are taken care of, give me a call. We can stop by to make sure they are fed, have fresh water, and give them lots of love and attention.

Senior Care Visits:

We know that older pets sometimes need a little extra attention and we are available to help you make sure they get it. Sometimes your senior pet may be on medication, or simply need to be let out more frequently. Let us know how we can help!
