 Getting Started with Kel's Critters
How Our Service Works Kel's Critters provides care for your pet loved ones in the environment in which they feel the most safe and comfortable - their own home! The Initial Visit The Initial Visit is an opportunity for you (and your pets) to interview your prospective Pet Sitter. This visit is always free of charge. Typically, this takes between 30 to 60 minutes. If you have contacted us early enough, we will mail, fax, or email the necessary paperwork for you to have ready at this visit. We do ask for a lot of information, but we really do need it in order to provide the best care possible for your pet(s). Our agreement to take care of your pet(s) and home is not 100% confirmed until this initial visit has been completed. Recommendations We recommend 1-3 daily visits to break up your pet's day. Dogs benefit most from a minimum of two visits per day. Cats benefit most from a minimum of one visit per day. For advice on other pets, please contact us. If you are going on a vacation or business trip, please request that Kel's Critters automatically continue services until you contact us to let us know you have returned. This way your sitter knows that you are safe and your pets are being taken care of by you, and you have the peace of mind that your pets will be looked after in the event of an unscheduled delay or emergency.  Please make sure to have the following ready for the initial consult: Your pet's vaccine records (at minimum we require proof of current rabies vaccine. 2 Keys to your house (please see our Ready Key Program) Initial Payment for first series of visits.
